Validity

Promotions in APIO can be configured with flexible validity rules, allowing merchants to control how long a promotion is available and under which conditions it applies.


Unlimited or Usage-Limited Promotions​

A promotion can be configured to:

  • Last indefinitely
    The promotion remains active until it is manually disabled.

  • Expire after a number of uses
    The promotion is automatically disabled once it reaches a defined usage limit.

This allows merchants to create:

  • Permanent discounts
  • Limited-quantity or early-access promotions

Time-Based Product Validity​

For specific products, promotions can also be restricted to a time window.

In this case:

  • The promotion applies only if the product is purchased within the defined date range
  • Purchases made outside the time window will not receive the promotion

This is useful for:

  • Seasonal campaigns
  • Flash sales
  • Limited-time offers
